Tour Descriptions

Ubud is definite don’t miss while you’re in Bali. This much-beloved town is the centre of everything artistic and cultural and has so much to offer in terms of traditional arts, cultural relics and historical sites. Located approximately an hour away from Kuta, we will start the journey with a fascinating Barong performance before moving on to watch the process of making handmade Batik as well as basket weaving. In Celuk Village, you can see master silversmiths working on their crafts.

A little treat especially for the kids when we make a stop at the Bali Zoo or the Bali Bird Park in the village of Singapadu, right outside of Ubud. Here you can interact with the animals and even come into contact with some friendly mamals and birds for photo opportunities.

Once we reach Ubud, we’d visit the sacred and famous Monkey Forest. At approximately 27 acres, the forest is also home to 115 different species of trees and 3 Hindu temples. According to local beliefs, the monkeys are protecting something sacred that is deep within the forest. Aside to feeding and taking photos with the monkeys, you can also trek across a deep ravine and a stream that is also located within the forest.

Also located in Ubud is the Puri Saren Palace, the Royal Palace which used to be the center of administration for Ubud’s royal government. Last stop would be Ubud market; here you’ll see a large  variety of unique handicrafts perfect for souvenirs and works of art / crafts such as wood carvings, handbags, paintings, clothing, sculptures and much more.
