Gili is a group of small islands located off the northwest coast of the island of Lombok near Bali.
The islands are ideal for those who want a break from the noise of tourist Bali. Sunbathe on the white beaches in peace and quiet, go snorkeling or diving.
The archipelago has a number of features. For example, internal combustion engines are completely prohibited here. In this regard, the transportation on bicycles or horses is very well developed.
And the weather here is even better than in Bali! If it is cloudy or raining in Bali, then go to Gili. Here you will meet the bright sun and comfortable temperature.
There are many restaurants on the islands, where all kinds of seafood are perfectly cooked: lobsters, shrimps, tuna, mahi-mahi, sea bass or squids. You can visit the restaurants with fish display and choose the freshest one for cooking.
Trawangan is the largest and most “tourist” island of the Gili archipelago. There are many restaurants, hotels, bars and pubs. In addition, Gili Trawangan has deserved its fame as a “party island”. Here are organized the most noisy and fun parties in the area.
There are some interesting spots near the island, so diving enthusiasts also will find something interesting here.
In the northeast there is a turtle farm – here you can interact with sea turtles. It is allowed to feed them, take in the hands and even take part in the process of releasing them into sea – for permanent residence. If you are with children – visit this place without doubt!
However, the beaches here are not very good – the bottom is mostly stony and covered with pieces of coral. Therefore, for a beach holiday, it is not worth going to Trawangan.
The mediun sized island of the Gili archipelago. It is much quieter and calmer than on Trawangan. But the infrastructure here is not worse – there are cafes, restaurants, hotels.
The island is popular with newlyweds who spend their honeymoon here, as well as with couples. It is quiet and cozy here. Along the perimeter, the island is surrounded by beautiful beaches with fine and clean sand.
There are much less tourists than in neighboring Trawangan, not to mention Bali.
The smallest island in the Gili group with the most interesting snorkeling, diving and other marine activities. Near the island, there are several points for snorkeling or diving.
Like on other islands, there are also restaurants and places to live. And of course, chic quiet beaches with white sand and clear water.

The minimum rental period for a yacht is 4 hours, but we recommend renting a yacht for 6-8 hours, as it is about an hour and a half to sail from Bali to Gili.
