Nusa Dua situated about 40 km from Denpasar and is the capital of Bali province. Nusa Dua translates literally as ’Two Islands’, which refers to the two small raised headlands or islands found just off the coast of the peninsula.
Nusa Dua is a separate tourist area located on the Bukit Peninsula with expensive hotels, spas, well-kept beaches, extended infrastructure (restaurants, shopping centers). On the peninsula you will feel completely safe, as the territory of beaches and hotels is guarded.
The fans of outdoor activities won’t get bored here: you can go kitesurfing on the beach, and the absence of strong waves makes the beaches attractive for swimming or exploring coral reefs.
In addition, local guides can offer excursions to attractions located near the peninsula: from visiting Hindu temples to climbing the volcano crater.
Magnificent well-kept beaches are the landmark of Nusa Dua, and the best among them are: Pantai Nusa Dua and Pantai Geger. Like all the beaches of the island, they are protected, the staff monitors the cleanliness of the coast, and the water temperature will pleasantly surprise you. On the beach you can find all kinds of entertainment (boat trip, snorkeling, kitesurfing).
A few hundred meters from the coast there is an unusually beautiful and rich in fauna reef, which can be explored by snorkeling.
The most popular places for excursions:
Bali is a place created for surfing. Amateurs and professionals come here to ride the waves. Nusa Dua surf spots are also suitable for beginners who are just mastering the technique.
All sights, beaches, places for diving and surfing are equally spaced along the coast, so we recommend to spend several days exploring the sights to dive into the atmosphere.
